1. What is IndePay?
IndePay is a revolutionary way to increase commerce and sales. Focussed on merchants, it provides multiple new ways for merchants to increase their revenue. With IndePay, merchants have access to larger markets and can sell and get paid for their own goods and services and also act as agents and distributors for third party goods and services, all without making any capital investment.

IndePay consists of a terminal and a payment platform which enables remote authorizations in an easy-to-use, quick and secure manner. The IndePay payment platform enables customers to make cashless payments anytime to any IndePay enabled merchant instantaneously.

Our solution leverages existing payment infrastructure and augments it by use of innovative technology and business relationships.

2. What can merchants do with IndePay?
Merchants can use IndePay in multiple ways. With the IndePay terminal, a merchant can sell and get paid not only for his own products and services but can also become an agent / distributor to sell 3rd party aggregator goods and services, all without making any capital investment. IndePay enables a merchant to do more and hence earn more revenue. We believe that merchants would be the biggest gainers of the IndePay service since they would also be able to accept conventional credit / debit cards on the IndePay terminal and cash for any commercial transaction that they do.

3. What do merchants require to use IndePay?
We are currently looking for preferred merchants who fit the following criteria:
• Have a known brand
• Have a prominent single store or chain of stores in a metro or in multiple metros
• Have a home-delivery and in-store model
• Are forward thinking and are willing to experiment with new ideas to further their business

4. How would merchants use IndePay?
All IndePay merchants would be comprehensively trained to use the IndePay terminal at the time of activation of the IndePay service..

5. Why would a customer use IndePay?
Because it’s convenient, easy to use, gives the customer access to great offers and it's the most secure way around to pay. It is actually faster than paying by any existing payment mechanism.

No, a customer can only use IndePay at our partner merchants

7. What can customers do with IndePay?
Customers can do a host of things with IndePay. For example, they can use it to pay at a restaurant or any grocery/chemist store. They can do home delivery of these products and pay for it sitting at home using their mobile phone. They can also buy airline / train / movie tickets, buy books / flowers / gifts / prepaid cards / gadgets / appliances and even pay their bills. All this and much more can be done through in-person and remote authorizations.

8. What do customers require to use IndePay?
To become an IndePay customer, all customers need is a normal mobile phone, with basic voice and SMS capability. Thus any mobile phone user is also a potential customer for IndePay.

9. How do customers register for IndePay?
All customers need to do is to register themselves with IndePay to begin. To register, all you need to do is to send an SMS “Join” to 9910468324 and we will take up from there

10. Does IndePay work with any mobile service provider?
Yes, in fact, IndePay will work with any mobile service provider and on any mobile phone from any generation.

11. How does one proceed after registration?
All post registration details would be given to the customer in the welcome kit which he receives at the time of registration.

12. Will IndePay cost any money?
No. IndePay is absolutely free. There are no charges for registration and use of IndePay. Infact, IndePay customers get discounts at merchants everytime they use IndePay to pay for their purchases. Customers will only need to pay regular call charges everytime they call our IVR. For all other transactions the customer will get a call from our IVR to get his PIN.

13. What if a customer is in the middle of a call when the IVR calls him to get his PIN?
Don’t worry; we will call each customer five times, at an interval of a minute each time, if he is unable to receive our call the first time. Because it takes just a few seconds to get a call after the merchant enters the customer’s phone number on the IndePay terminal, we suggest you refrain from making or receiving a call at the time of transaction.

14. How do the customers contact IndePay for any help or feedback?
Customers can contact us for any support, comments or feedback.

15. How secure is IndePay?
All customer transactions on the IndePay platform are completely secure and employ a two factor security just like in an ATM. The first factor is the customer’s own personal mobile phone and the second factor is their IndePay pin which is selected by the customer when they register themselves with IndePay. The IndePay terminal is certified to be secure and would also enable safe transactions that are paid through in cash or cards.

16. Is it safe to send money and buy things using a mobile phone?
Yes. All mobile transactions are PIN-protected, like your debit card, and none of your financial information is ever revealed during transactions.

17. What is an IndePay PIN?
The customer’s mobile PIN is the personal identification number that he creates when he activates his phone for IndePay, much like his ATM PIN. The customer needs his mobile PIN in order to buy things by phone. A customer’s mobile PIN is essential to keep his account secure. So a customer should never let anyone know his PIN.

18. What is the purpose of the PIN?
The PIN is used to ensure that only an authorized user uses IndePay

19. What if a customer forgets his PIN?
The customer doesn’t need to worry if he forgets his PIN. All he needs to do is to call the IndePay IVR and make a PIN change request. Once such a request is made, a customer service representative from IndePay will get in touch with the customer and help his change/reset his pin.

20. What if a customer loses his phone? How can he disconnect his account?
Nothing to worry about. A customer’s payments are protected by the PIN, known only to him. In case he loses his phone, he can just call our 24-hour helpline, and his account will be disabled. He can also do this online at www.IndePay.com

21. Will a customer get a bunch of SMS spam if he signs up with IndePay?
No, the customer will not get any spam; rather he will get SMS on great deals from us and from our partner merchants. The customer can always choose not to receive these messages.

22. Is IndePay available in other regional languages?
Currently IndePay is offered only in English. It will be available in regional languages very soon
